Where Is My Mama?

Where Is My Mama?

A Poem by Ayesha Atif
"

A mess with the words.

"
Willful child held his hope and broke into tears for his pain was sage,
Has he lost the love of her life, speaks his childish fears in grave,
Eternally sick? On a spaceship?  Visualizations of a 3 year old kid,
Reading a book, which he couldn't, without his mama showing phonics to him,
Eager to drive his toy car, he left his mama, with a joyful laughter to sip,

Is she not talking to me? I can't hear her? Should I apologize?
Situations I dragged her in, to make her say esoterically goodbye,

Mama, I love you, please come back, I wont do this again,
You're the one who buys me toys and takes me to my favorite rides,

Madid eyes long to see your face but no one here even calls your name,
Agonized, your little one realize, no one to sing nursery rhymes to him,
Meaningless life, without your side, push me back into the game,
Another long sullen night has arrived, without you singing lullabies to me
