MaskedA Poem by Ayesha AtifWriting after a long time.
Swiftness of my fantasy rushed into reality,
Doubt turned into fear, and fear into misery, Fought with the angels as long as I could, The strand had to break with the heart and soul, Saint soul was to depart, journey to eternity at its start, Circle of life unchained and the body was left frozen, Tears in the eyes and sullen silence within the noise, Melody spreaded illiusions in mind, a moment unacceptable; undenied, It's not bona fide, not bona fide, said the heart, Couldn't understand the injury it has brought, Had a hope building a stonewall, sleep it is, Not at all! Belief was persuaded with the moarns, Then shredded I the pearls and life was sliced It was then I finally realized what true love is, Love is not found with ease, it is concealed with pain. © 2013 Ayesha AtifReviews
