The walk

Your path, your walk, Your life.

To be empowered by loneliness, 

To want to walk in the dark alone.

To fear no terror in the night,

To find our own way home. 

To walk barefoot into the woods,

To never look behind.

To be deafened by the silence,

To have a peaceful mind. 

To be brave, and only brave,

To never need another hand.

To be content with myself,

To be fearless, where I stand.

To want to walk this path, 

To never need a single sound.

To see this through until the end,

To want to not be found. 

To never fear my destination, 

To enjoy the wind and rain.

To do it on my own,

To never feel alone again.
