Tragic love story.

We never had a perfect love.

We only ever tried. 

you had nothing, 

and to you, I had it all. 

Two separate worlds you said,

Reminding me of our differences. 

But I took in every single flaw,

And because you were so unlike me...

I effortlessly fell so deeply in love with you,

I could never read you, and I sort of loved that. 

Our drunken nights in bed,

sometimes felt like a passionate fight to survive,

Unaware to the pain you hid so well.

Until you left.

Tearing every single part of me to shreds.

little did I know then....

You left because we were so unlike.

Scared, you knew I could do better.

I was broken, and therefore retaliated,

pulling us apart even more. 

We never had a perfect love,

But I wish,

I could have told you how perfect it was to me.
