The Big PictureA Poem by kasanovalife as it is.I'm still empty inside
But I'm still glad I lied
I need someone to perfect me
But I need to stay free
Don't want to get attatched because I don't want to break
Love is a lot like the apple and the snake
You can take a bite
But life won't go right
Soon enough you will find yourself
Stuck in a room with nothing but memories on a shelf
You can try to keep on keeping on
But it'll be hard when everything inside of you is gone
You must be stupid, you must lack common sense
Doing all you can just to live in the past tense
You'll spend time to figure what it's all about
Only to find your perspective was inside out
And after a dozen fake ones, you’ll finally smile
You’re free, you left your emotions outside in a pile
You will be happy, enjoying the fresh air
When suddenly you’ll see someone somewhere
Your mind and your heart will begin to reminisce
The bad and the good and I can’t stand this
It’s a cycle - it never ends, never bends
It never mends, it just blends
Experiences and lessons make a mixture
And that’s when you’ll finally see the big picture © 2011 kasanovaAuthor's Note
