I don't love, I consume

I don't love, I consume

A Poem by Jordan Warren

I want to worship your soul,

crack open what's hidden by your flesh

suck it from your bones.

I want the brutal truth of you,

I want to show it to you too.

I want to write you poetry,

wrap you in words

drip them in our coffee.

Stretch my limbs over yours while you sleep,

protect you from the world with my own body.

Disturbingly engaging piece; lovely descriptions and flow. Definitely what my "love" is equivalent to - passionate obsession, infatuation, take your pick. Really loved this piece.
