my first attempt at writing a love poem

Feeling the warmth of your hands as they touch mines
Exchanging body heat as we pass time
My heart beats faster when youre around
With every touch and every sound
You make me feel like no ones around
Just you, me, the world.

Would i be selfish if i ask for your hand?
To be wrapped around my waist forever
As we hold each other closely
Heart to heart
Bump bump bump
Can you hear it?
Its telling you;
I shall never forget our love.
