Because I love you.

I say I am okay.

I keep my real emotions

hidden away.

I smile and laugh with

my friends, even though

its all a lie. 

Inside, I am dying slowly.

Inside, I am ripping myself

apart every day.

On the inside, I am crying. 

I mentally abuse myself

to keep you safe.

I don't want to.

You don't want me to. 

But I do it because I

love you.

i think this is really good! it seems to have a somewhat strange structure but i really like the emotoin behind this and the message! so many ppl, especially young women, can relate to things and feelings like these. i'm sure they feel this is almost speaking to them
