Where am I?

Where am I?

A Poem by Naomi Roseღ

  I don't belong
  in my house, where
  people's looks are like
  nails in your eyes.
  I don't belong in
  my school, where
  rumors spread like
  mosquitoes.
  I don't belong in
  my skin, where
  I always feel
  out of place.
  Where do I belong?
  Where do I have to
  run to?
  Who do I have to
  run to?
  Answer the questions
  before it starts again.

So emotional. I enjoyed reading this, your feelings on a piece of paper, like wearing your heart on a sleeve.

Woman strong and straight
Wear your badge with pride
The girl of this moment will blossom into
A force no place can hide:)
