Finding Naomi

  I am chipping away

  my skin, and seeing

  the old me return.

  She has been gone

  for too long.

  I have felt her

  inside my stomach,

  pounding on my

  insides demanding

  for her release. 

  I have seen her floating

  in my pupils begging

  to be free again.

  Now she is she.

  The new Naomi is dead.

  The old Naomi has returned

  once again.
