Finding Naomi

  I am chipping away

  my skin, and seeing

  the old me return.

  She has been gone

  for too long.

  I have felt her

  inside my stomach,

  pounding on my

  insides demanding

  for her release. 

  I have seen her floating

  in my pupils begging

  to be free again.

  Now she is she.

  The new Naomi is dead.

  The old Naomi has returned

  once again.

The new Naomi is dead.

I love that, because like, most people write about old selves becoming new again. This is a completely different perspective on the whole "I'm gonna become a new person" kind of thing. I love it! This is SO much better than the last one I read, though I couldn't remember for the life of me what the title of that one was.
ANYWAY! My point is, this was amazing, and I'm putitng it in my library the first chance I get!
