reflection

Have you ever looked in the mirror,

looked in the mirror for so long,

that you start beliving a part of you has drifted to the othe side.

Can you feel your spirit slipping away.

Do you know the difference between youself and your reflection.

Do you feel that the image you see is so fragile that with the slightest touch it might shatter,

so you walk away wondering.

this poem is about feeling uncertian about the way you look or feel we all feel it and we all heal

A lot of people seem to relate to it. It was a venting poem inspired by the song breathe no more by Evanescence.

Okay, be warned though that some of the songs (such as breathe no more) are kind of depressing and haunting others are powerful and energetic (such as what you want).

This reminded me of Buddhist, Hindu, and Black Foot (Native American) proverbs. Feel a pride your mind found the higher level of emotion balanced with thought we all strive for.

Very symbolic, but as usual, it needs editing. Good work so far though
