Looking for angels

I wake up,

Each day is the same,

I look in the mirror,

Shed another tear,

see the sorrow I’ve gained,

I’m becoming hollow,

It’s easy to see,

I’m looking for angels,

To come and save me.

I walk down the street,

My eyes to my feet,

I’m losing hope fast,

The good things never last,

I’m looking for angels,

To come change my mind.

Looking for angels,

to help leave it all behind.
