Fly away

I want to fly away,

I need an escape,

I can’t stay,

It’ll wash my faith away,

I want to fly away,

I need a place to stay,

A place with no fears,

A place with no tears,

I want to fly away,

I want to hibernate,

Sleep away the pain,

Find happiness to gain,

I want to fly away,

My wings are beginning to break,

I need to escape now,

Or my demons will pull me down,

I want to fly away,

Don’t worry I’ll be okay,

Don’t cry for me my dear,

Join me free from fear.
