Beautiful Sorrow

Hoping for tomorrow,

Because I can’t make it today.

I’m reaching out but,

You’re just so far away.

tears stream down like razor blades,

and my thoughts make me feel ashamed.

Beautiful sorrow,

Haunts my dreams,

No soothing arms to comfort me,

Beautiful sorrow,

Drowns my screams,

No kiss to make it,

Better than it seems,

I need your strength,

To help me fight,

I need you here,

To make it alright,

But you’re so far away,

And the beautiful sorrow,

Is here to stay.
