Pompous Preacher

Pompous Preacher

A Poem by Arthur Weil

Pompous and blatant he preached

Rambled, cajoled

Until he was stripped of all his clothes

And, holier-than-thou

Exposed him in his own reality

In his sheer nakedness

And finally

Total silence
