Over The Mountain

Over The Mountain

A Poem by ASHLEY WALKER
"

Seeing beauty all around

"

Living to the blue birds and the Red Robins

Greatly my eyes behold the beauty,

People have yet to discover;

But no man has truly discovered God.

The power of discovery runs through the Mind & Blood,

Through the veins coursing down the turning Lane;

Coming to that cross in the road,

Mind knows not which direction to take.

His voice more powerful than our own.

Tears began to form and questions rises up

Is he there, where are you at, are you real God/Jesus.

Where was you? when I was going through;

Heart clings to the questions not only Forming

To the mind but in it.

Can you feel his hugs, when the weather seems to be cloudy?

Can you feel the kiss upon the cheek, when he calls you precious?

Looking at the reflections and finding every flaw,

Looking over and seeing every outlined Beauty.
