Melancholy

Is defined as the feeling of pensive sadness,

the perpetual feeling of loneliness.

emptiness.

You introduced me to this feeling,

your sudden departure from my life has thrown me to the abyss

that is melancholia.

My love for you has given me so much joy,

and in your absence,

I felt hurt.

I felt pain.

I felt anger.

these are feelings I never allowed to linger in my life.

until you.

I have never felt so much anger for someone I loved until you.

After the anger has boiled over and the steam has passed,

I am left with nothing but melancholia. Sadness. Emptiness.
