The poison is my memory

The poison is my memory

A Poem by Jessica Gilbert

I wear my crown

the thorns prick me

Its poison enters me

flowing through my veins

The bitter poison tricks me

makes me want to hate me

It's flowing through me, in me

makes me want to cry

The poison is delicious

The drug is malicious

It's burning delirious

Where am I?

The crown tricks me

it's poisonous thorns hurts me

Screaming in agony

The poison is my memory
