What is Love ???

 

I'm awakened yet agian

in the middle of the night

I am hearing my neighbours

another horrific fight

He hits and he kicks

he screams and he yells

That woman's existence

is pure living hell

 

I ask why she stays

with that monster of a man

She just smiles and shrugs

says i wouldn't understand

I tell her i am worried

for her "quality" of life

For NO decent man

would raise a hand to his wife

 

She jumps to her feet

and starts running away

but turns her head to tell  me

with her husband she will stay

That following night

he was beating her so bad

His limbs were all flailing

he had completely gone mad

 

He delivered blow after blow

to her body and head

When he finally collapsed

she was motionless, she's dead

Upon realization

of what he'd just done

He raced for the bedroom

and loaded his gun

 

A single tear appeared

and ran down his face

Without his f*#@ing wife

couldn't stay in this place

With his trembling hand

he aimed for his head

He pulled back the trigger

releasing the unforgiving lead.

Unfortunely this is an all to real scenario
and it happens more then we think. Definitely
a melancholy piece written chilling well...

It's true that there a lot of people like this. I personally couldn't understand loving someone like that, but in most situations like this, it wasn't always this way. She probably thought he could change, but by the time he realized his love for her, it was too late.
