ParanoiaA Poem by AveTNJust a quick poem that came to me one day while I was sitting doing nothing. I lie, I never sit and do nothing, for I am always thinking. But still, I was physically inactive at the time.I glance over my shoulder, paranoid Suspicions of malice flood my mind, So beautiful is this love that I long to accept With manipulation and deception he draws me in, Then he pulls the trigger, plunges the blade, And as my heart withers away, Life begins to thrive within his veins, For it is as though humans were vampires, Feeding off pain and misery as if it were sustaining blood; As if human suffering was our very lifeline; As if it were vital for us just to breathe. So it matters not what one says or what one does, I shall never trust, and I shall never love. © 2014 AveTNAuthor's Note
