Hopeless

A Poem by Nathan Griffin

Written in 2013 in accordance to the extinction of the White Rhino.

"

Hope is always here

they said

Hope brings faith in humanity

they said

Hope brings new life

they said

New opportunities

they said

However, I looked around and saw

The lost

The helpless

The careless

The cruel

The hungry

The hated

The hatred

Looking back around

We will not make it

I said

Such truth. Although I still have hope for this world. But still this is a wonderful poem. You convey your feelings from you to the words to the reader in a brilliant way. So simple yet you drew me and made me feel this hope only for it to be taken away. I know this will be in my thoughts for a while. Keep up the writing! Great work!
