For CobyA Poem by Aveira CorbettA poem for someone that touched my life.I cannot help but feel confused. A life filled with dreams, and loving laughter. Mistakes shrugged away, no apologies after. I think of you often but speak not a word. I feel guilt of the pain, in all you went through. Knowing I can't take any onto me off of you. You smiled through and said that I had saved you. You were very much stronger than you ever knew. Joking at gossip and running wild was a clue, The this world was not built for someone like you. I'm sure I'll know one day that all this is true. Heavens made for angels, for those just like you. © 2015 Aveira Corbett |
