so much for prizes

so much for prizes

A Story by avarion23

Her: "if I were to kiss you would that settle the score?"...Him:"it cannot be settled for the point was not to conclude with such a sealed reverie."...Her: "Then let it be sewn and stitched to goal, I crave your lips for they shine like gold."...Him:"Than am I only a prize to be won? What if those lips a little bronzer, didn't radiate such jewels? Would you still consider it a trophy?"...Her:"Bronze is but a liqour and gold a sweet sour, I do not seek to win hour by hour; If but copper was all that would stain me and chisel me green with poison i would stand on a pedestal and still shout the proclamation. I just beg for our lips to be one, no hidden agenda toils or corrupts my sway, we are the trophy not you, not I, but together we shine."...Him: "Then let us compete no longer and claim what is rightfully claimed, our lips meet as team instead of adversaries a king and queen with no name for the sake of monarchy to flourish for if we held names we would only be the tyrants we've run from my love..."
