I miss you.

I miss you.

A Poem by anon

I sit in despair now.
I miss you.
Alone your presence could lighten a heavy day.
Lying my head down on your chest hearing your heat beat.
"It beats for you." You told me.
We kept each other company.
We made each other laugh.
We spent hours with each other.
Now, I sit alone.
I wonder if you miss me.
Did I change on you?
You changed me.
You left a mark on me.
A scratch.
A dent.
A bruise.
If you called me, I'd talk.
I'd listen.
I'd forgive you.

The imagery and emotions of a relationship passed on reflection. Nice style.
