Two of Cups, D Minor (Version II)

Two of Cups, D Minor (Version II)

A Poem by Amanda Avalon
"

Version II- the only difference is line breaks.

"

My partner harbors dual polars that dry my insides
Then-
One upward glance
Spread out over
This levitated bed and
I’ve been lubricated
Bathed in bare
Eyes of panthers longing
Time-
Your taste of devil's flesh
Within reach

Mid-years’ bright
Lilacs struggle for survival
A season’s lack of chance
to drench within your element
In my head like a kick
you’ve replaced
The wolves howling
as summer digests fall

Barefoot in the kitchen, we wake
Play house
The balcony illuminated
Citrus rays, a saccarined kiss
Amidst this scene
Stolen from some other time
Past.
