Storm's Eye

Storm's Eye

A Poem by Amanda Avalon
"

Wrote this on a scratch pad at work sometime around June.

"

Within my storms

I've found a calm equilibrium

Selection of a solo stance, rather that

Than leech to expectations

Nary those hair-brained Lucy schemes

I’m pieces of eight

And seventeen months apart

If I've got it I've got it-

If not, I know how.

Seek those greener pastures

180 degree flips and retrograde motions

No discovery of concrete explanation for my emotions

Flowing aimlessly though this river of love, I seek no definition but

Completion
