ArachnidsA Poem by Amanda AvalonCreatures taking on two human forms. May 2007
Vibrations I'd expected are not I'm carrying excess weight and drowning in red A dream is a dream Is a dream. My Achilles heel broke But your pitch-black orbs, gritted teeth Fisted pinching pedipalps Have laid an egg inside of me I'll try to scratch the itch, but I know it Just won't hatch. Ha-tsu Ludvico, I thank you The technique holds promise But I've failed, not reformed Violated, mosquito vampire Anticipate the day of the wire, scrape my growths Sleep it off, forget it all It really never happened Mortal Kombat, I'll be kicking your a*s All the kids are home, there's mouths to be fed Later than sooner I'll see you crawl And hitch a ride On my back as I climb © 2008 Amanda Avalon |
