A Poem by Ava Laveau 🥀
"

eat your heart out

"
Hold onto the hearts that
Give you flowers,
And keeps them watered
With your rain showers.

Hold onto the hearts that
Leave warmth on your cheeks,
From kisses, caresses,
to slaps and beats.

Hold onto the hearts that
Reassure your insecurities,
But only to then blame it
On your immaturity.

Hold onto the hearts that
Appear to beat louder,
Those are the hearts
That are best devoured.
