Battles

Battles

Elective battle

Found myself being screamed at

My alarm as loud as a car honk

My dad coming cause I wont wake

Got hit on the head with a big thonk

Looking out my window

Eating a lime

Watching squirrels run

Making me happy trying to rhyme

I wish it was not this hard

What elective for middle school?

Everyone saying to do Choir

Even my computer is being a fool

I guess my computer is right

My voice is magnificent

Still a hard choice to make

Maybe my computer was giving a hint

what should I do?

One of them is Art

Thinking thinking thinking

This choice is really hard

I don’t want to do Choir

Standing still too long

The songs are too slow beat

And that’s one threat to my fun

I’ll do band

As long as i don’t get the tuba

I like a lot of instruments

I want the drums that go bum ba!

It’s a battle

Between those two

Choir i have to sing

And i hope i get no flute

I turned in my paper

Saying art, band, then choir

I can change my mind

But i hope i get the choice that's better

The paper ended the battle

And settled it for all

Now to make a choice

Soccer or basketball

Sports Battle

Middle school coming

More choices to make

Next is my sports

Which one will i take

I like both sports

Soccer and basketball

I have to choose one

Because I can't choose all

So far on my rank

My first is basketball

Then I have soccer

In both sports you could fall

The good news is

I have a while to think

I need to choose wise

So my choice won’t stink

Watching my sister

Playing their sport

Now to Gentry’s game

I watch her run up the court

Gentry plays basketball

Morgan plays soccer

Lots of stuff to carry

Glad both sports have a locker

I think im gonna stick

To the sport i love the most

Basketball with my friends

And Blair as the post

I am so excited

1 week til summer

But im also sad

I just ended soccer

The 1st week of summer

Im going on vacation

Shells from cancun

I'll make a collection

Listen to my heart

My mother tells me

That i will do

I wish it was free

I have good news

I made my choice

I will play basketball

Now i'm gonna rejoyce!

But then again

Talent show is coming

I am in two acts

And my body is aching

Staying Calm

Starting to panic

What should i do

My back is hurting

My knee too

I have to do stunts

And dance in suits

But with the pain

It wont come true

I think to myself

Just relax

Go easy on the knee

And rest the back

Oh yay oh yay

It will come true

Doing the stunts

And dancing in suits

My knee doesn’t hurt

Nor my back

It all i did was

Lay back and relax

Butterflies in my stomache

Tryouts are today

We better do good

So we have a great day

We just did try outs

Maddix stubbed her toe

It started to bleed

Luckly it did not glow

It turned out great

I think we made it

But tomorrow again

I have to do a skit
