First DateA Poem by authorised1960Teenage angst...Oh, I died a thousand deaths In my naivety And lack of knowledge
Seventeen I was And she was sweet sixteen. She knew more than me.
My lips wetly stuck to hers Her tongue licking my teeth. I gagged. She laughed.
Just as well it was dark When I fumbled at her breast And missed.
I was beet-red In the cinema dark. I didn’t try again, of course.
I walked her home And kissed her goodnight. We didn’t go out again.
