That Last Step

That Last Step

A Poem by Laura E. Aranda

Your confidence is too candid

Fumble in the darkness

For the last step that you can not see.....but know is there

All you feel is an uncommitting air

never promising to hold you up but lets you fall

down

down

down

down to the uncompromising harsh brick reality that hungers for your life source

scrapping your plans and replacing them with nothing but hurt and pains......

Keep your eyes peeled for that last step

Never take anything for granted

Lessons are learned every other day but we forget that a lesson learned two weeks ago may have a subtle change now and therfore be a new one today so life just never actually stops testing us...Damn these lessons!Theyer kind of like germs huh?..lmao nice poem as usual

Ahhh a great lesson indeed... even though we know the path we are on we must watch for obstacles that come from nowhere and never take for granted those things in your life for that is the best way to lose them, especially when it comes to love.
