Talon & Kate

Talon & Kate

A Poem by Laura E. Aranda
"

Using only ten letters: N M T L K S Y A E O

"

Talk to me, Talon

Say my name

Kate

      Kate

            Kate

As notes on lost steamy lakes

Tame men’s nosy looks, Talon

Say my name

Kate

      Kate

            Kate

As men stall at my tent

Take meanness to a lost sky, Talon

Lost yells as men stalk my name

Kate

      Kate

            Kate

Say My Name! Talon!

Talon!

Say My Name!

Talk to me, O’ Talon

Lose me not

Met me in some lost lone sky….met me, Talon

Um mountains and a lake

Interesting, but this does not have the intellectual and poetic depth of some of your other pieces.

Fascinating, have never heard of just using a limited number of letters before! Like doing some demanding yoga move. Nice one!

This was quite good and seamed to match the picture well. Good luck on the contest.

Wow......this was full of awesome! I greatly enjoyed the fact that only ten letters were used. It makes me want to do it. Did you pick the letters at random or were they assigned?
