Life Appeals

Life Appeals

A Poem by Laura E. Aranda
"

Using the letters A P L E T O M S I F , only ten letters for the contest.

"

Life appeals to me

Simple little apples

Appeal to me

Smiles topple my 'ifs'

Maple leafs appeal to me too

Plots to film, maps to stop

All appeal to me

Teams, motels, Pilots of seas

Please see it all as I see

Little palms, stomps, topples

It lets me smile...

All of Life appeals to me

It is odd that this piece would bring such burning tears to my eyes, but it is only because of the overall thought of it and how I tried so desperately to make this point to a friend. In expressing the appeal of all the things in Life that appeal to you, you touch upon some of the little things. We often get caught up in all the things that loom so large in our lives, we can forget all the little things. We can end up taking them for granted, and this is a brilliant example of remembering them instead - cherishing them in a manner, as you realize all of Life appeals to you. Thank you for sharing this...

You are amazing, as it is not easy for someone to write a poem that is both very meaningful, yet only with the letters you have said. And to think this was a first try, omg you're a genius. I will be looking forward to reading more from you, this poem is simply amazing!
