Hues of Gloom

Hues of Gloom

A Poem by Laura E. Aranda
"

Pooh's rain cloud colors me sad

"

Sea Foam, Charcoal Mist

Smoky Haze, Dove Gray

London’s misty mocha fog

Ethereal frothy tinged shades

Monochromatic weathered slate

Shades of stormy skies

Neutrally blinded boardwalks

 rainclouds

Beautiful!!!
This is amazing...
Vivid and lovely imagery with flow like windswept caress.
I love this...

A dynamite poem short on length but long on imagery and talent!

I love this, its like making a coffee, and walking down the street at the same time. Very well done. Nicely written. The words are awesome, not much to say, they work well together.

I love the poem though I will admit I wasn't sure that I liked the underlining of each line; but that is formatting and not writing, so.....not reviewing that lol. you've conjured up a gray and misty london day for me here; even though I've never been there - great imagery and thanks for the trip :-)

What a dark gloomy place to be lost and lonely in. Positivly scarey.
But every dark cloud has a silver lining because the sun is always shining somewhere.

Like this a lot. Although it calls up images, It is also very sensuous on the ears. I find the the combinations of S and A sounds especially pleasing.

Another beautiful write for the "Dream" contest from your talented pen Laura.
This did conjure up "loneliness" so well and certainly "fogs" always seem such very lonely places to
be in!
