Let History Be Your Guide

This is only the first two stanzas, if they are good, (you will let me know), I will continue with the poem

Rifle through the pages of the past

Take Experience's hand and lessons do apply

Overlook not Life and History do not deny

Learn of others faults and change the world at last

 

Memories, like salty tears may be vast

Haven't enough ancestors made others cry

Be the change we all need, let your dreams fly

Rifle through the stories History tells of the past
