A Poem by Laura E. Aranda
"

My Great Aunt is failing, unfortunately. I want her to live on and on. She is all I have left on my mother's side.

"

The colour is another great way of letting a memory live on and on :) It's never cool to see someone who isn't do well anymore. Death is NEVER EVER a nice thing.

Nice poem!

I was drawn to the title of this poem. It made me curious and my curiousity was well rewarded. I truly enjoyed reading these moments of time captured so beautifully in their simplicity. I am especially fond of empty room. Such a wonderful display of word economy. Each word so carefully selected to convey the very essence of the moment. It reminded me of randomly visiting nursing homes, even when I didn't know a soul there. If only we all realized the power of our presence as you do. Remarkable and truly enjoyed!

Very well done, very descriptive and artistic. I like your meaning, yet it does have a bit of a negative side that I can see. Very well written, very well expressed, great job.

And welcome to the House of Broken Mirrors, I have read your Broken Heart poem and I have to say it it destined to be a single shard... (I will wait to review it)
