Bloom and Decay

Bloom and Decay

A Poem by Austin Hennings

See what you're seeing it when you're seeing it
Reporter of the dirty seconds
Days miscarry
While the others play on the swings
Bloom and decay
Shelter the soft cotton
Like a pillow you beat to fluff
A fish you couldn't be bothered to feed
Hit the glass
It shatters
You win
