Trembling thoughtsA Chapter by echoChapter 2
It was when the long day had finally turned into a peaceful night that I decided.
I had to meet her. The stars danced on my window, but all I could think about was how they resembled her. In a way, my mind became her sanctuary. My thoughts were not my thoughts anymore and I unwillingly became a slave to my own emotions. And in the midst of my own tornado stood a black hole, gaping at me with its eyes, ready to swallow all I've ever believed in. Was I wrong? The thought hit me, and doubt planted a seed in my mind- as if the black hole was its long lost companion. The two grew, enveloping my soul further with each passing second. They ran around my mind, putting before me questions I never answered, not even asked myself. Or maybe I did, but they were simply so fragile that they vanished into thin air before I could even use the little bit of common sense I had left. I didn't know anything about Alicia Rivers. That was the final thought I had that night and all I saw underneath my closed eyelids were stars. © 2015 echo |
