My 'I'ness

My 'I'ness

A Poem by Yogesh Thanki
"

OVERCOMING HURT PRIDE !

"

My ‘I’ness is
At its top of suffocation.
I am imprisoned in
My own glass-chamber.
O Love, take me out, there…
Where love only dwell
Break my glass-chamber
O my love, give me
Single sign of your presence.
I have traveled with you
On barren road of society,
Bare-foot, for you and you only!
I didn’t care for my ‘I’ness
It kept sleeping in me,
Waiting its time to come,
Now its time, it is asking me
It’s share of ruling on me.
Snatch me from me
O my love… take me out
Before I go mad.
O love, I am living for you,
Just love me and let me live,
If you can !
