Songless NightingaleA Poem by St.JimmyMy first sensible ballad, rising above the concept of stinking and boring lovey dovey crap
Once there was a nightingale
The Glory of the yellow dale Like a damless river, her voice flowed With melody, the whole dale echoed But her jealous fella birds Murdered her spirit,by the swords of words With tears she lost,in the melancholy sky Until her wings resisted to fly Landed at a distant place The Glory lost her Grace Her Heart Broke like a crystal toy But there she met a lonely boy "O! My Songless Nightingale I beg you,to stop your wail",he said. Unexpected, but she heard his request And headed her beak towards the west The boy followed with a gentle smile And reached a shoreless isle Where there were no more noises And the Glory recollected her rejoices The place consisted of heaven and of hell And sitting on the scaffold of well Glory gained her melody back again But this time it echoed pain Boy heartily listened to the song But could sense something wrong Behind the ominous banyan tree But her voice made him carefree Behind the tree, there was a hunter Fired his gun, like a thunder Which pierced the heart of the Glory Forever, and silenced all her melody Forever,.......... With silenced emotions she fell Into the depths of the unending well Boy cried that he couldn't save His friend lying in her grave "O! My friend,my Nightingale Why you left me amidst of sail? Let me clean your wounds and blood Let me see you, make my eyes flood" Sprung out of the well was her live spirit Brought an essence to the aroma, and lit The spirits of dead, And said, "O!My friend,my saviour,my guide You were the one to bring me delight But one more request can I make? Will you make this place a memorial for my sake?" Since he made that noble choice He was gifted with her soothing voice xxx
