My nation,my pride

My nation,my pride

A Poem by St.Jimmy
"

On 26th January (Republic Day of India),a dedication to my country (A Satire)

"
O! my nation,my pride
I salute you
I pollute you
Even when I am dried
I still dilute you
I still salute you

O! my nation, my pride
I respect you
But I expect you
To be on my side
Only then I accept you
Only then I respect you

O! my nation, my pride
I crowned you
But I bound you
To make my aspirations abide
After that I found you
After that I crowned you

O!my nation, my pride
Be my biddable bride
In my hands like a kite
And move in the direction which I decide
MY NATION,MY PRIDE!!

Your "chains of language" are exactly as they should be. Your pride in your nation springs from every line. Excellent work. There is nothing wrong with your grammar, "poetic license" allows us some leeway with grammar.

This shows the great respect you have for your country and of the things you expect in return. The flow of this piece is really smooth. It expresses your thoughts clearly.
