Desolation!

A lonely wail

From  dry clouds of infatuation

Into the broken heart's haunting deserted dale

Consequent of a murdered obsession

A sinking sail

Desolation!

1,3,6,7,5,3,1--I think I see what you ar trying for, if it is symmetrry, leave the "the" out of the 3rd line
