Tribute

Tribute

A Poem by St.Jimmy
"

this is on how much we respect the sacrifice of the martyr's

"
Let's give a tribute
Let's take a pledge
Let's salute
The red uniform's camouflage
So People! don't be mute
And respect the honor of their bravery's badge

Let's give a tribute to the spirit
Of getting hanged in the 23 years of age
For the country's merit
So people let's make a change
In the attitude of acting strange
Which we have got inherit

But why should we give them a tribute?
No matter how much guts they had
They were absolutely mad
Cause they crossed the limits and got dilute
For the sake of the nation which is now pollute
They must be watching it from heaven and getting sad
Cause their sacrifice has no more worth today
But this was absolute

So why should we care?

I don't know the answer to this one. Here in the USA we have men like Martin Luther King who die for his belief. He is remembered. Men and woman need to be remembered for doing great things. I have a personal hero. Rachel Corrie. Put her body as human shield. I have her on myspace page to remind me of people who die for the cause of peace and to protect. A excellent poem. You made me think. Goal of a writer.
