We are attending big parties and every other occasion which is grand

But never extending to someone our soothing and helping hand

If this is life then what is death?

We are on every social networking site and trying to impress the online spouse

But hardly we bother that who is living next to our house

If this is life then what is death?

We are hurrying up so that we wouldn't miss the train

But hardly care when last got wet in the cold droplets of rain

If this is life then what is death?

Studying like bookworms for every competitive test

But don't even remember when enjoyed the last sunset

If this is life then what is death?

We are so busy in the management of time

But in 24 hours not having even a single minute to feel the flow of rhyme

If this is life then what is death?

Having knowledge about the latest fashion and trends

But hardly care when last had a hangout with the beloved best friends

If this is life then what is death?

I am sure it would be better.........
