Contortionist

As my spirit attempts to put my mind at ease

you f**k up my emotions and contine to tease

and in significant amounts

you get the best of me~

you startle me with images of what may or may not be~
I'm twisted with fear~

it has a deathly grip on me
and I silently wonder just where it will lead~

when I'm near you, it's love I will aIways demand - when I'm with you, I will follow your command

I have a terrible fear of being without a man

of being stuck and malnourished~

I'm trying so hard to understand

Where it has gone and where will it will land?

I would contort my soul to feel you near me~ to have you in me~to believe you need me~

with desire for you, my being will seethe
my love for you makes it hard to breathe~

And it's you I search for in my terrifying dreams~
the dreams that cause me to belt out

horrifying screams
that are ripping and tearing apart at my seams
