A Poem by Audri Carlevaro

Hes indescribable.

Which makes my job hard.

I’m meant to compare

And contrast -

Delve deep into who he is,

Create a picture close to his perfection.

But I can’t.

He leaves me speechless,

in situations where words should flow.

When I think I can

count on my pen -

I’ve got blank pages,

Right where my heart should be.

Because he is indescribably amazing.

Infuriating and inspiring.

The definition of insanity,

But the image of beauty.

He’s everything I want to write,

But he’s impossible to pen down.

When people fall in love,

They have pages and pages -

But not me.

Because my muse is broken.

Because I fell for the man

Who rips the words from my chest,

And smiles at whats left.
