The land of moderations

the poem is about the constant war of good and evil in each of us and how it is often futile to run from the bad in us.

In the peaceful  land of moderation

the angel and the devil co-ruled

until the angel got a visit

from his friends from the land of perfection

and they convinced him of the possibility of perfection

That's when the angel arranged a coup

and the two emperors went to a war

the angel won the war, and imprisoned the devil in a pit  

for a thousand years

and the angel sighed in relief, finally the evil had been eradicated

but the relief was short lived

in the pit the devil discovered cracks

and used them to whisper evil to the youth of the land

and the land went into chaos

and the emperor had to go to war again

this time against the people

until he had to throw all of them in the pit

and no one was left to be ruled

the angel had to release the people

and the people demanded for the devil

the angel released the devil, 

and negotiated terms for co-existence

the land was ruled by two emperors once again

and the land knew peace once again

once the evil and the good co-existed

in their imperfect land
