Reeling RevelationA Poem by audacious
What is a love merely masked by friendly hugs
Or by words that are put off until later? What are opportunities regarding these things And how does one go about forgetting (un)forgettable flings that (do)n’t matter? To one, it’s there, an easy solution, just move on, and never turn back. To the other however, it’s more than a mere quote that seems to keep them from reaching the track So while one lives, the other one dies A slow and painful death, Until she wakes up one night, in the midst of nothing And realizes everyone else has been quite right. © 2018 audaciousReviews
