Reeling Revelation

Reeling Revelation

A Poem by audacious

What is a love merely masked by friendly hugs
Or by words that are put off until later?

What are opportunities regarding these things
And how does one go about forgetting (un)forgettable flings that (do)n’t matter?

To one, it’s there, an easy solution, just move on, and never turn back.
To the other however, it’s more than a mere quote that seems to keep them from reaching the track

So while one lives, the other one dies
A slow and painful death,
Until she wakes up one night, in the midst of nothing
And realizes everyone else has been quite right.

The sadness of not being true to ourselves and fearing the unknown leaves one lonely and the other one lost- sad reality of fear - love it🌹

Some people settle all their lives - because they WANT... always want, and are soooo afraid if they haven't.

Wow. I love this. I especially like the last two lines.

Until she wakes up one night, in the midst of nothing
And realizes everyone else has been quite right.

Wonderful read.
