Amongst the Silence

Amongst the Silence

A Poem by Amanda Trerotola

The crackling of the fireplace
snaps in my ears
as the fiery blaze
thaws my skin
cradling my worries,
at last
everything
goes
silent.

It is the small things- a.t.

Soft, gentle and wonderful use of words. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to the proper ending. Thank you Amanda for sharing the amazing poetry.
